On projects where this delivery method is used Project Control
assumes the role of Main Contractor on the clients behalf.
The advantages of this are twofold;
Clients can choose which sub contractors are utilised.
There is no Main Contractors margin added to the cost.
This delivery method suits projects where there may only be a hand full of sub contractors involved or where the work is specialised and the client needs to have direct contact and co-ordination with subs while the work is carried out.
In this type of contract the subs are contracted directly to the client, Project Control then facilitates the work on site and takes care of the day to day organisation on the client’s behalf.
